Dear WDCTS families,
July 4th is coming. This year, the July 4th parade is cosponsored by Mr. Shie and TAA's of Washington and Baltimore. Please see attachment for detail. We would like to again invite you to join the parade to represent the Taiwanese Americans. The parade gathering time is 10:30AM, July 4th, at National Mall at 7th Street SW near Jefferson Drive & Air & Space Museum. The Taiwanese American team will reach the end at approximately 1PM. Barzan (rice balls) will be served.

Dear WDCTS families, I'm sending this e-mail on behalf of Chiayu 佳瑜. Please use attached sign up sheet and send your respond to Chiayu at Kajuu.Khor@gmail.com who will be coordinating the event sign up. We need to have the final head count by Thursday 6/25. It is proposed to combine both WDCTS Summer Camping and Picnic together at the same location. >>>Event Details: Location: Maple Tree Campground - 20716 Townsend Road, Rohrersville, Maryland http://www.thetreehousecamp.com/ Please visit the web site and download the Camp Map under Camping Options. With a group of 30+ we could reserve tent sites around the Pavilion for our group only. In addition, we plan on renting out the Pavilion and host WDCTS picnic on 7/18. This allows family not attending the camping but would be able to make a day trip for the picnic. Date: Two nights camping 7/17 - 7/19 Cost and other details available on the web site. Also, for family interested in the Tree House (available on the 8/21 - 8/22 weekend) or Tree Cottage (available on the 8/28 - 8/30 weekend), please let us know so we can evaluate the possibility of the 2nd camping event.
